ANKARA - The Parliamentary General Assembly on Friday approved article
4 of the bills package on adjustment with the European Union (EU).

YAYLADAGI - Fire, which broke out in Yayladagi Township in southern
Hatay Province on Friday, can not be taken under control. A total of 27
hectares of forested area was demolished.

1 of the bills package on adjustment with the European Union (EU).
Under this article, death penalty is removed from penal code except war
and situations of imminent war.

ANKARA - The parliamentary health and social affairs commission adopted
on Friday the job security bill which foresees amendment to Labour Law
and the Trade Union Law. The bill is expected to be taken up at the
