ANKARA - The Parliamentary Constitutional Commission approved late on
Tuesday the bill on adjusment with the EU
[02] ECEVIT SAYS THEY ARE MAKING MILITARY AND POLITICAL PREPARATIONS
FOR A POSSIBLE OPERATION AGAINST IRAQ
ANKARA - Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit said on Tuesday that the United
States had stated that it would launch an operation against Iraq and
announced beyond implying that this would not be in favor Turkey,
adding, ''so we are making both military and political preparations.'
[03] CONSTITUTIONAL COMMISSION APPROVES ARTICLE ON BROADCASTING IN
DIFFERENT LANGUAGES AND ACCENTS
ANKARA - The Parliamentary Constitutional Commission approved late on
Tuesday Article 8 of the bills package on adjustment with the EU on
broadcasting in different languages and accents that are traditionally
spoken and used by Turkish citizens in their daily life

ANKARA - The Parliamentary Commission for National Education, Culture,
Youth and Sports on Tuesday approved with majority of vote Article 11
of the bills package on adjustment with the EU
