ISTANBUL - 16.06.2002 - Coast Security and Ship Rescue Management
General Director Hucum Tulgar said that despite all efforts, they
couldn't locate the four missing people after last night's sea accident
in Istanbul Strait.

ANKARA - The number of banks in Turkey decreased 30 percent from 81 to
57 because of closures, mergings and sales, Turkey Banks Association
annuonced on Monday.

ANKARA - President Ahmet Necdet Sezer will go to Iran on Monday as the

ANKARA - The university entrance examination (OSS) which 1,540,405
students took in 145 centers across Turkey including one in the Turkish

ISTANBUL - The number of the missing people after last night's sea
accident in Istanbul strait increased to four.

[12] TWO PEOPLE MISSING AFTER SEA ACCIDENT IN ISTANBUL STRAIT
ISTANBUL - Efforts are continuing to find the two people who are
missing after a Russian ship collapsed with a passenger boat offshores
of Kurucesme about 00.05 on Sunday. Fifteen passengers who were rescued
were hospitalized with minor injuries.
