[01] KARAKOYUNLU RETURNS HOME FROM UKRAINE
ISTANBUL - State Minister Yilmaz Karakoyunlu announced Saturday that
Turkish people including businessmen would benefit from a label visa
system when they travel to Ukraine, just like Turkey offers this system
to Ukrainians.

ISTANBUL - Culture Minister Istemihan Talay was given Poland State
Medal for his contributions to the development of cultural relations
between Poland and Turkey on Saturday.

BALIKESIR - BALIKESIR (A.A) - Motherland Party (ANAP) Chairman and
Deputy Prime Minister Mesut Yilmaz has said the he would accept
President Ahmet Necdet Sezer's proposal regarding abolition of death
sentence but said that they cannot start it with approving the protocol
since this would require a government agreement.
