The projects involve access to state of the art computational facilities and extensive collaboration and travel for visits with scientists at the Center for Turbulence Research at NASA Ames/Stanford University. Highly qualified candidates are sought with a background in engineering, mathematics, physics, computational sciences and other relevant areas. Applicants should submit :
Candidates are encouraged to submit their scores in the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) general test. The fellowships carry a yearly stipend of approximately 55,000 SFr and graduate students enjoy all benefits of the ETH federal employees. Applications for studies beginning in the Summer Semester 1998 or the Winter Semester 1998 are being reviewed periodically, starting December 1st, 1997.
