[01] OTE posts strong results for second quarter of 2013
ANA-MPA -- An increase of the Group EBITDA margin to 35.1 percent, the
smallest revenue drop since Q2 2010, and a decrease of total operating
expenses by 10.2 percent were among the results announced by the Hellenic
Telecommunications Organisation (OTE) on Thursday for the quarter and
six months ending June 30, 2013.
Commenting on OTE's performance in the second quarter, Michael Tsamaz,
Chairman & CEO, noted: "With the sale of Globul and incremental
refinancing, we are in the best financial shape we have been in years,
and have the resources we need to focus on our business and invest in
the solutions our clients want and deserve."
