    Cyprus' President sends condolences to Greece over accident

    Nicosia, Sep 27 (CNA) - Cypriot President Tassos Papadopoulos sent a letter of condolences to Greek President Costis Stephanopoulos and Prime Minister Constantinos Karamanlis, expressing the government and the people's shock over the death of seven children, when their bus was hit by an truck outside Kamena Vourla in Fthiotis prefecture.

    '' I was shocked to be informed about today's tragic accident near Kamena Vourla. Please accept the sincere condolences of the people of Cyprus, the government and mine personally over the loss of innocent children's lives,'' the President says.
