Cyprus Government welcomes resuming of CMP's work
Nicosia, Aug 31 (CNA) The Cyprus Government welcomed the resuming of
the work of the Committee on Missing Persons in Cyprus (CMP) noting
that it is a new start.
The tripartite committee comprising a UN representative and one from
each of the islands two communities Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot
reaffirmed Monday that the ''total commitment and ultimate target was
to finally resolve the humanitarian problem affecting families of both
communities alike''.
