Simitis opens exhibition of Cypriot culture in Salonica

Salonica, Sep 7 (CNA) - Greek Prime Minister Costas Simitis opened an exhibition dedicated to Cypriot culture yesterday in Salonica. The exhibition, titled ''Cyprus 1700-2000'', is organised by the Teloglion Foundation of Art in cooperation with the Thessaloniki International Fair.

Nicosia, Sep 7 (CNA) - Cypriot Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism Yiorgos Lillikas held a series of contacts in Salonica, in the framework of a visit on the occasion of the 68th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF).

During his stay in Salonica, Lillikas met with Greek Minister of Development Akis Tsohatzopoulos to discuss bilateral interest matters and cooperation in the sectors of new technology, industrial advancement, energy and commerce.

Lillikas says action plan to be prepared in view of EU accession

Larnaca, Sep 7 (CNA) - Cypriot Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism Yiorgos Lillikas returned to the island today after a visit to Salonica, where he decided with Greek Minister of Development Akis Tsohatzopoulos to set up workgroups that will prepare a plan of action in order for Cyprus and Greece to exploit the island's full accession to the EU in May 2004.
