    Cyprus' trade deficit with EU reaches 2.2 billion euros

    Brussels, Jul 4 (CNA) - The trade balance in Cyprus' dealings with EU countries showed a deficit of 2.2 billion euros in 2002, according to figures released today by Eurostat, on the occasion of the informal meeting of EU and acceding countries Trade Ministers, in the context of the EuroMediterranean cooperation and the Third EuroMediterranean Conference, along with the trade ministers of Mediterranean countries.
