President Clerides hopes EU accession will help Cyprus settlement
Nicosia, Dec 9 (CNA) - Cyprus President Glafcos Clerides hopes the
island's European Union accession course will contribute towards a
solution to the political problem, noting that the settlement should
comply with international law, UN resolutions on Cyprus, human rights
conventions, European Court of Human Rights decisions, and the acquis
communautaire.
