On her part Vitez said Cyprus and Slovenia could cooperate in the fields of investment and commerce. They also exchanged views on legal and practical measures for enhancing co- operation on the protection of the environment of the Akrotiri Salt Lake area. CNA MK/GP/20011950:CYPPRESS:08[08] Cyprus Foreign Minister - BahrainLarnaca, Jul 17 (CNA) -- Bahrain's government firmly supports Cyprus and its legitimate government, Cyprus Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides said here today on his return from Bahrain, where he paid a two-day official visit during which he met his Bahraini counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa.Kasoulides said he discussed with Khalifa the latest developments in the Cyprus problem and expressed hope that Khalifa would be in a position to refer to the issues raised at their talks, when he will attend the next Cooperation Council of the Gulf countries.
