CNA/GP/2001 ENDS, CYPRUS NEWS AGENCY1320:CYPPRESS:02[02] New Horizons - Interview - Parliamentary Electionsby Maria Koniotou Nicosia, May 2 (CNA) - The New Horizons Party ascertains lack of strategy on the island's European Union course and pledges that in the new House of Representatives it will submit a proposal for a joint meeting of Greek and Cypriot political parties with an aim to adopt a joint strategy regarding the island's accession bid.In an interview with CNA, the party's President Nicos Koutsou said the New Horizons supports joint meetings of the Greek and Cypriot political parties and Greek EuroMPs with Cypriot deputies, to handle the policy which Turkey is promoting in annexing the occupied areas in case Cyprus joins the EU before a solution to the Cyprus problem.
