[01] Paphos - Civil defence - Sea rescue exercise
Paphos, Feb 24 (CNA) – Volunteer groups of the civil defence in the western
coastal town of Paphos carried out a rescue exercise in the sea today,
aiming at upgrading its role and effectiveness.
Interior Minister Christodoulos Christodoulou said this is the first time
such a rescue exercise took place and announced that a civil defence
Operations Control Centre as well as a Training Centre will be set up in
the Paphos district.
