[01] Doctors of the World - Cyprus branch - Africa
by Argyro Aggelidou Nicosia, Feb 21 (CNA) -- A Greek Cypriot doctor, vice
president of the Cyprus branch of the charitable organisation "Doctors of
the World", leaves Friday for Zimbabwe, Namibia and Bostuana to help out at
local hospitals and assist in the effort to train people in these countries
feed themselves.
"I hope to work in the small hospital our organisation set up seven years
ago in Zimbabwe and help local doctors to operate. I will also be taking
with me 500 olive trees to be planted in two different locations in
Zimbabwe and Namibia," Eleni Theocharous told CNA in an interview.
