Nicosia, Dec 23 (CAN) -- Total imports and total exports from January to
October this year rose, so did imports for home consumption, according to
the Department of Statistics.
European Union countries supplied Cyprus with more than half the imported
goods and absorbed 52 per cent of the island's domestic exports, excluding

[02] Junior Chamber - Cyprus
Nicosia, Dec 23 (CAN) -- The President of the Junior Chamber of Cyprus
(JCC) Paraskevas Kyriakides has been elected member of the Board of the
European Chamber, to which Cyprus belongs.
A press release by the Junior Chamber said it participated in a meeting of
the Junior Chamber International (JCI), in Japan, during which the Cyprus
Chamber was given an award for its activities and effectiveness. CAN
