[01] Students protest - UDI
Nicosia, Nov 15 (CNA) - Greek Cypriot students and pupils have called on
the international community to exercise its influence on Turkey to help
pave the way for a settlement, as they protested the 17th anniversary since
the Turkish Cypriots set up their self-styled regime in occupied Cyprus.
The students also warned everybody, dealing with the Cyprus peace effort,
that they will not accept the fait accompli the 1974 Turkish invasion of
Cyprus has created and gave them a clear message "you are wrong in assuming
we shall give up our struggle for freedom and justice."
