[01] Foreign Minister - London - Meetings
London, Sep 30 (CNA) - Cyprus Foreign Minister, Ioannis Kasoulides, met in
London yesterday with British Minister for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs,
Keith Vaz, at the Foreign Office.
Speaking after the meeting, which he described as "interesting and cordial",
Kasoulides said he was "very happy" with what he had heard, noting that "we
had the opportunity to talk about the efforts for the solution of the
Cyprus problem, developments in New York (proximity talks), the efforts of
Cyprus to join the European Union and I was happy to hear the United
Kingdom's position reiterated".
