CNA MM/MA/RG/20001920:CYPPRESS:04[04] Greek government - Cyprus problemNicosia, Aug 21 (CNA) -- Greek government spokesman Dimitris Reppas has said that the Cyprus problem is a top priority for Athens, noting that increased interest in a settlement is also due to initiatives taken by the Greek government and the fact that it raises the issue in its international meetings.According to the Athens News Agency, replying to questions during his daily briefing today, Reppas also recalled the European Union Helsinki summit conclusion that a settlement in Cyprus is not a precondition for the Republic's accession and said this decision cannot change.
