    [01] Missing - Exhumations - Service

Nicosia, Nov 6 (CNA) -- The state honoured today eight people whose remains were exhumed in the summer as part of the process of exhumation and identification of war dead and missing persons from the 1974 Turkish invasion of Cyprus.

Speaking at the service Defence Minister Socrates Hasikos apologised to the relatives of the missing and the dead because in the havoc caused by war their loved ones were buried in unmarked mass graves without the proper honours.
