[01] PIO - ITAR-TASS - Cooperation Memorandum
Nicosia, Nov 8 (CNA) -- Director of the Cyprus Press and Information Office
(PIO) George Hadjisavvas and First Deputy Director General of the Russian
ITAR - TASS news agency Mikhail Gousman signed here today a cooperation
memorandum.
The memorandum aims at promoting cooperation in the field of
information and contributing to the further enhancement of relations
between the people of the Cyprus Republic and the Russian Federation.

[03] Cyprus- El Salvador - Diplomatic relations
Nicosia, Nov 8 (CNA) -- Cyprus and El Salvador signed a joint declaration
in New York last week with which they establish diplomatic relations.
According to an official announcement issued today, the declaration
was signed by the Permanent Representatives of Cyprus and El Salvador,
Sotirios Zakheos and Ricardo G. Castaneda-Cornejo respectively.
