    [04] Spokesman - Missing - Turkish reaction

Nicosia, Nov 5 (CNA) -- The government has refuted Turkish claims that there are no missing persons in the Turkish occupied part of Cyprus, recalling that the remains of a US citizen, listed as missing, were located in the Turkish occupied part of the island.

The government also said it is ready to continue with the process of exhumation and identification of remains in the free areas of the Republic, in full knowledge that some of these may prove to belong to persons listed as missing.
