[01] House President - Parties - Athens conference
Nicosia, Nov 5 (CNA) -- House of Representatives President Spyros Kyprianou
went to Athens to participate in a conference on the Cyprus issue organised
tomorrow by the Democratic Social Movement (DIKKI). Representatives of most
Cypriot parties will also take part in the conference.
During his stay Kyprianou will meet Greek President Costis
Stephanopoulos and his counterpart Apostolos Kaklamanis, before he returns
to Cyprus on Sunday.

[02] Lyssarides - Socialist International
Nicosia, Nov 5 (CNA) -- President of Socialist party EDEK Vasos Lyssarides
leaves Sunday for Paris to participate in a meeting of the Socialist
International.
On the sidelines of the conference Lyssarides will meet a number of
foreign delegates, he told CNA today, adding that he will also have several
meetings with Greek Premier Costas Simitis and Foreign Minister Giorgos
Papandreou.

[04] Spokesman - Missing - Turkish reaction
Nicosia, Nov 5 (CNA) -- The government has refuted Turkish claims that
there are no missing persons in the Turkish occupied part of Cyprus,
recalling that the remains of a US citizen, listed as missing, were located
in the Turkish occupied part of the island.
The government also said it is ready to continue with the process of
exhumation and identification of remains in the free areas of the Republic,
in full knowledge that some of these may prove to belong to persons listed
as missing.
