BANJA LUKA - The President of Republika Srpska (RS) Biljana Plavsic talked in Banjaluka with the French Ambassador in Sarajevo Ives Gaudel. After the meeting, President Plavsic and Ambassador Gaudel did not gave statements to journalists, but it is thought that they talked about past parliamentary elections in RS and next Bonn conference.

SARAJEVO - Escorted by supervisor from RS Dragan Podinic, from OSCE centre in Vienna, tomorrow morning should be delivered on Sarajevo airport the first shipment of ballots from abroad for election of delegates in National Assembly /NA/ of RS. According to the words of chief of centre for counting ballots in Serbian Sarajevo Bosko Siljegovic the final details connected with procedure of counting votes from broad would be determined at the meeting with representatives of OSCE.

SARAJEVO - The minister without portfolio in RS Government Ljubomir Zukovic received in Pale the Greek Ambassador to Sarajevo Prokopios Manzuranis in courteous visit before leaving as Ambassador of RS to Athens. "From His Excellence Ambassador Manyuranis I have got the assurances that the friendly Greek agree with my appointment on the post of ambassador to Athens, and the meeting partly passed in usual acquainting with the procedure necessary with such appointments", stated Zukovic.

SARAJEVO - The arming of Muslim in Hrasnica, Sokolovic Kolonija and Butmir had began long ago before the beginning of the civil war in B&H, in the middle of 1991. Initiators of that action were leaders of the Party of Democratic Action /SDA/ and its military wing - "Patriotic league ", led by Alija Izetbegovic and chief of Emergency Headquarters, Ejup Ganic. Systematic arming of men, age of 18 to 65, in flats and houses, that got a massive character at the end of the mentioned year, was conducted through SDA local boards and municipal Emergency Headquarters.

ROME - Italian media paid great attention to admission of Alija Izetbegovic, Muslim leader, about Muslim war crimes in B&H, mostly made against Serbs in Sarajevo. Newspapers quote Mr. Izetbegovic, who says that "it's not important how many persons were killed, because according to Koran, a murder of one man is the same as a crime made against whole human race ".

BERN - During the Second World War Nazi Germany looted 146 millions of dollars in gold from victims of holocaust - is claimed in one study published in Switzerland as a contribution to Intarnational Conference on Nazi gold scheduled for tomorrow in London. The study, made by nine member independent commission of experts discovers that Swiss commercial banks redeemed from Germans gold, totally amounted 61.2 millions of dollars, what is three times more than it was thought before.

HAMBURG - The German military journal "Wehr Technic" assesses that soldiers from the French contingent of SFOR, discriminate their German colleagues. The journal confirms this with the claim that the French named the common assembly place in SFOR base in Rajlovac, "the Square of France." "The culmination of the French discrimination is the strict ban for German officers and soldiers to enter in the French gyms centre, what is ultimately insulting" - writes this paper.

BAGHDAD - Last night several thousands Iraqis were present at the joint funeral of about 100 children which death was caused by UN sanctions - reports AP. While the funeral procession, with about 100 wooden coffins, was passing thought the streets of Baghdad, the citizens shouted "down with America," and, "There is only one God, and America is God's enemy. "

SARAJEVO - Today is the international day of struggle against AIDS. About 30 million people in the world is infected with this disease. The report of the UN Organisation for fighting against AIDS shows that the number of infected people is much bigger then it was expected, and that number still rises. Daily about 16,000 people in the world get infected with HIV virus. About 90% of infected people live in developing countries, while in developed countries a slight fall in the number of infected persons was noticed.
