THESSALONIKI - As the Greek media report, RS president Biljana Plavsic, stated that the RS will withstand pressure of The Hague Tribunal and preserve its constitutional legitimacy. During her recent visit to Greece, Plavsic mentioned that the RS leadership and people have in the four years of war been constantly exposed to unjustified pressures and blackmails.

SARAJEVO - A president in the Presidency of the Dayton B&H from RS, Momcilo Krajisnik, talked with the minister in the Great Britain Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Linda Choker, about the issues relating to the London conference, scheduled for the beginning of December. Pointing out that the activity of baroness Choker is known in RS, president Krajisnik thanked for everything that Great Britain, and baroness, are doing for RS.

SARAJEVO - The president of the RS National Assembly, Dragan Kalinic, and members of an expert team of the Ministry of Health talked in Pale with representatives of the World Health Organisation, and thanked them for the previous cooperation and help offered in building and working out the strategy for the health system in RS. The head of the team for the reform of health services with the World Health Organisation, Michael McGinnis, expressed satisfaction with the way on which the international community approached the job.

SARAJEVO - The OSCE's spokesman, David Folli, is worried about the ongoing reports saying that 380,000 Serbs will not be eligible to vote at the local elections, scheduled for autumn of the next year. At a press conference in Lukavica, he said that this will not happen, for "according to the decision of the Provisional Electoral Commission, everyone is able to vote in the Municipality he is presently living in, in the case that he proves by his identification documentation that he has lived there by July 30, 1996.

SARAJEVO - UN criticised the Croatian media for publishing false information, "which could provoke intense tensions". The UN spokesman in Sarajevo, Patrick Swenson, reminded us that the Bosnian Croats press agency HABENA published in Saturday that allegedly "the Serbs killed five Croats who have come to visit their relatives graves, near the village of Tramosnica (on the northeast of RS), on All Saints Day".

BELGRADE - The director of the Federal Bureau for Statistics, Milovan Zivkovic, announced in Belgrade that the Federal Electoral Commission has worked out 66, 52% of the electoral materiel today by 17:00 hrs, according to which 64% of the voters turned up at the federal elections. According to him, the coalitions of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS), Jugoslav's Leftist (JUL) and New Democracy (ND), Zajedno [Together], Vojvodina, the Serbian Radical Party (SRS), and the Democratic Party of socialists of Montenegro, the Alliance of Vojvodina's Hungarians, the National Party of Montenegro and the Party of Democratic Action of Montenegro have won representative seats in the Federal Parliament.
