The Paul Ginis Costume Collection gathers a wealth of authentic antique regional costumes and pieces of material culture from all over Greece. The collection was started by GAFS founder Paul Ginis, who personally acquired the pieces. Certain pieces come from generous private donations.
GAFS is proud to wear these costumes in our performances. Very soon we'll be able to exhibit many of these treasures in this section, in the hopes that the creation of a folk culture museum here in NY will become a reality, in the near future, for everyone's pleasure and enlightenment.
