ANKARA - Former Foreign Minister Ismail Cem has said that he was not
optimistic that Turkey would achieve crucial EU reforms before the
early elections.

IZMIT - Justice and Development Party (AK Party) deputy leader
Abdulkadir Aksu said on Friday that the EU adjustment laws can be
adopted in the parliament in one day by discussing them with the status

Friday that the cost of an early election would be about 40-45 trillion
Turkish liras (TL) and added, ''we have no problem for the election to
be held on November 3.''
