ANKARA - Turkey and Bosnia signed on Wednesday a Free Trade Agreement
in Ankara.

ANKARA - Presidency Chairman of Bosnia-Herzegovina Beriz Belkic has
said that his visit to Turkey was an evidence of good relations between
his country and Turkey and added that Turkey had always stood by
Bosnia-Herzegovina.

ANKARA - President Ahmet Necdet Sezer said on Wednesday that Turkey and
Bosnia-Herzegovina should develop their economic and trade relations.
[05] ANNUAL INFLATION BECOMES 46.8 PERCENT IN WPI AND 42.6 PERCENT IN
CPI
ANKARA - The State Statistics Institute (DIE) said on Wednesday that
annual inflation became 46.8 percent in wholesale prices index (WPI)
and 42.6 percent in consumer prices index (CPI) as of June.

CHAIRMAN BELKIC OF BOSNIA-HERZEGOVINA
ANKARA - An official welcoming ceremony was held at the Cankaya
Presidential Palace in honor of Presidency Chairman Beriz Belkic of
Bosnia-Herzegovina who came to Turkey as guest of President Ahmet
Necdet Sezer.
[07] WHOLESALE PRICES INCREASE BY 1.2 PERCENT AND CONSUMER PRICES RISE
BY 0.6 PERCENT
ANKARA - The State Statistics Institute (DIE) announced on Wednesday
the rise in wholesale prices in June of 2002 as 1.2 percent and in
consumer prices as 0.6 percent when compared to previous month.

ANKARA - Treasury suffered a 2 quadrillion 629.9 trillion Turkish liras
(TL) cash deficit in June.

IZMIR - Five workers were injured in an explosion that happened at
Turkish Oil Refineries Corporation (Tupras) refinery in Aliaga town of
western province of Izmir on Wednesday.

TRABZON - Turkey has exported 243 thousand 248 tonnes of hazelnuts and
obtained an income of 604 million 720 thousand U.S. dollars since
September 1, 2001, the beginning of 2001-2002 hazelnut export season.
