The Dept of Environmental Engineering at the Technical University of Crete (POLYTEXNEIO KRHTHS in Chania, Crete) has three (3) faculty openings at the Assistant Professor level.

The three positions are:

(1) Applied Hydrology using GIS and/or remote sensing (YDROLOGIA GIA MHXANIKOYS PERIBALLONTOS ME XRHSH GIS KAI THLEPISKOPISHS).

(2) Management of Municipal Wastes with emphasis in Landfill design (DIATHESH KAI EPEKSERGASIA ASTIKON APORRIMMATON)

(3) Environmental Risk Assessment and Forecasting of Extreme Phenomena (EKTIMHSH EPIKINDYNOTHTAS KAI PROGNOSH AKRAION PHENOMENON)

These positions have appeared in the government journal (FEK No. 140/parartima/20-12-2001) and the DEADLINE for submission is MARCH 11, 2002. Information on the required documentation is available at
