The Institute of Nuclear Physics of NRCPS Democritos announces the opening of a postdoctoral position in Theoretical High Energy Physics with emphasis on Phenomenology.

The duration of the appointment is two years, with the possibility of a furhter two-year extension contingent on the needs of the research programme. All EEC PhD physicists with some experience in related areas are invited to apply. The deadline for submission of application is 25-11-96. The application together with a cv, list of publications and three recommendation letters should be addressed to the Personel Department, NRCPS `Democritos', 15310 Athens, Greece, tel:+301-6514117 and +301-6518770.

The High Energy Phenomenology group of the Institute consists of Professor E.N. Argyres and Dr. Costas G. Papadopoulos. The current interests of the group are electroweak phenomenology with emphasis on LEP2 physics, trilinear gauge coupling studies, radiative corrections and multiparticle production in perturbation theory. The group has a long and ongoing collaboration with prominent European groups in the area. EEC funds are available for travel and research expenses.

The activities of the Institute extend to several other fields of both theoretical and experimental high-energy physics. The theory group consists of three more members, Prof. E. Floratos, Prof. G.K. Savvidy and Dr. M. Axenides. Experimental high-energy groups participate in ALEPH, DELPHI and CMS.
