Cypriot music talent needs sponsors

General Announcements Directory - Previous Article

From: "HR-Net News Distribution Manager" <dist@hri.org>

Originally From: "Panos Fellas" <p.fellas@btinternet.com>, Head of Science and Housemaster of Gardner House at The Purcell School, an independent school for talented young musicians (http://www.purcell-school.org/).

I am writing to you on behalf of a very talented young Greek Cypriot girl, Victoria Mavromustaki. She is 16 years old and an outstanding talent on the violin and the piano. She auditioned at our School and was awarded a place with a half-scholarship to attend in September 1999. (http://www.purcell-school.org/victoria.htm)

Victoria's family cannot possibly raise the other half of her fees and are looking for sponsors for her two-year course at The Purcell School.

If you can help please consider the benefits of sponsoring such a talented young musician; a) You and your company will get a great deal of publicity via Victoria's concerts, biographies, Web pages, CD's etc. b) You will get, where possible, complimentary tickets to her performances, and progress reports throughout her stay at The Purcell School.

HRH The Prince of Wales is the Patron of the School, and every year the School sends orchestras to play at Investitures at Buckingham Palace. (http://www.royal.gov.uk/today/invest.htm)

The School performs many concerts, often two or three times a week, and your support will be rewarded by listing you and your company as benefactors of the School. (http://www.purcell-school.org/support.htm)

If you would like to consider this very worthwhile cause, please write to Sponsorship@purcell-school.org quoting Victoria's name in the subject, or call me on my direct line 01923 33 11 55.
