PAPER PRESENTATION-CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS

More than 130 papers have been submitted for review. The final conference program will be prepared as soon as the review process is over. Official language of the conference is English. All papers, though, should include title and abstract in Greek, which will be prepared by the scientific committee.

The conference includes a poster session, too. Posters will be presented in a special area of the convention centre, next to the conference rooms. Moreover, summaries of the poster presentations (up to 2 pages) will be included in the conference proceedings. These summaries should be submitted until April 15, 1998.

REGISTRATION FEES

a) Delegates:
Until March 31, 1998: US$ 120 or 30000 drachmas
After March 31, 1998: US$ 160 or 40000 drachmas
b) Students US$ 60 or 15000 drachmas
c) Accompanying persons: US$ 50 or 12000 drachmas
Registration fee includes the conference proceedings, refreshments, the wellcoming reception and the conference dinner.
Payment should be made by international money order, for "Protection and restoration of the environment IV", payable to K. L. Katsifarakis or to Y. Mylopoulos. In U.S.A., payment should be made by check, in order of Stevens Institute of Technology.

EXHIBITION OF ENVIRONMENTAL PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

An exhibition of environmental products and services will be organized, in conjunction with the conference. The exhibition is open to

  • Government agencies
  • Non governmental organizations
  • Engineering firms

Special emphasis will be placed upon:

  • New products and technologies for protection of the environment.
  • Environmental impact of major construction works and projects.

PARTICIPATION FEE

Participation fee is US$ 550 or 140000 drachmas, until May 20, 1998 and US$ 800 or 200000 drachmas until June 15, 1998. It includes exhibition space of 4 m2, plus registration of 2 representatives.

ACCOMMODATION

A special conference price has been arranged for a restricted number of rooms in Sani Beach and Sani Beach Club hotels.
