[01] Oil Drops under US$49 per Barrel
The price of oil has dropped under US$49 per barrel in London today for
the first time since May 2005, while its price in New York dropped
under US$51, the lowest level recorded since January 2007.
The market is edgy due to the financial crisis.

[02] Paederast Kept Teenager
Γάλλοι αστυνομικοί απελευθέρωσαν μία 14χρονη έφηβη, την οποία κρατούσε
French police officers have freed a 14-year-old teenager kept for
several days by a paederast she had met on the Internet. The
44-year-old paederast, who had served his sentence on paederasty was
arrested near Nevers in central France yesterday morning after being
chased by the police. The man has been detained. The authorities were
searching for him across France after he vanished from Sharad Maritime,
where he was living under custody since August when he was released.
The abducted teenager was found in his car and will be released to be
examined by doctors before she returns to her family in Lorraine.
She had left a boarding house in Diez on 14 November to meet her future
abductor, reported the Mayor of the town, where her parents live.
