Archbishop Ieronymos Suffered Fracture

Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and all Greece underwent Monday
afternoon an operation to have his fracture right leg restored.
Ieronymos was injured in the southern Greek city of Kalamata on Monday
morning. Ieronymos stumbled and hurt his leg. Because of the intense
pain, he visited a clinic in Athens, where he underwent an operation.
Due to the accident, Ieronymos will not be able to celebrate the Mass
on the 1821 Greek Revolution against the Ottoman Empire on 25 March at
the Athens Cathedral.
