[01] Commission aims at programme review conclusion by Jan 26
BRUSSELS (ANA/ Ch.Vassilaki) - The European Commission aims at the
conclusion of the second programme review before the Eurogroup on January
26, EU Commissioner Pierre Moscovici's spokeswoman Annika Breidthardt
on Tuesday said.
"The European Commission is closely working with all involving parties to
ensure the conclusion of the second programme review as soon as possible
and in any case before the Eurogroup of January 26," Breidthardt said
in a statement to the Athens-Macedonian News Agency.
She added that the president of the European Commission Jean-Claude
Juncker, apart from the meeting with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras last
week, he is in constant contact with the European Central Bank (ECB)
and the European Stability Mechanism (ESM).
[02] PM Tsipras expresses condolences to the victims' families
"The attacks in Berlin and Zurich, as well as the murder of the Russian
ambassador in Turkey, fill us with sadness and horror. We express our
sincere condolences to the victims' families," Prime Minister Alexis
Tsipras posted on Twitter.
[03] 19 Syrians relocated at implementation of the EU-Turkey agreement
19 Syrians who refused the continuation of the asylum status were
relocated at the implementation of the EU-Turkey agreement.
More specifically, six men, three women and 10 children were transferred
from the airport of Mytilene to the airport of Adana on a plane leased
by Frontex.
