The new draft bill on social security reforms will be tabled and voted by parliament by Jan. 15, while a solution must also be found by Feb. 15 on the non-performing loans to conclude Greece's first program review in time, government sources said on Monday.

The government's next steps were the topic of discussion in a meeting between ministers and associates and chaired by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras. According to the sources, Tsipras may call a cabinet meeting on Wednesday to discuss government planning.

New Democracy leadership candidate Vangelis Meimarakis leads by slightly over 11 pct over fellow candidate Kyriakos Mitsotakis, according to the first official election results released by the party on Monday evening.

With 84 pct of the votes counted in 1,062 out of 1,251 poll stations in total, Meimarakis has gained 39.51 pct, Mitsotakis is second with 28.27 pct, Apostolos Tzitzikostas received 21.15 pct and Adonis Georgiadis has 11.07 pct. [03] Anti-terror police examine document in USB stick for possible link to SEV attack

Greece's anti-terrorist police are investigating the contents of a USB stick it located in a street in a central Athens on Monday, which may contain a statement claiming responsibility for a bomb blast outside the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) last month.

Police was alerted after an anonymous phone call to Greek daily To Vima earlier in the day, in which the man said that an envelope had been left at a crossroads in Exarcheia neigbourhood.

Police said they don't know the group that send the statement or whether it claims responsibility for the attack, but official statements are expected to follow.
