[01] Government plane makes forced landing
The governmental aircraft transferring Government Vice-President and
Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos on Friday made a forced landing
at Thessaloniki airport due to a fragment on the pilot's cockpit window.
Venizelos left Ankara, where he attended the official ceremony of the
new president of Turkey.
[02] Moderate quake jolts southern Greece
A moderate earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale was recorded
at 06:45 at the sea region between Peloponnese and the island of Milos,
120 km east of Laconia prefecture's coasts and 146 km south of Athens.
A 4.7 Richter aftershock was recorded three minutes later.
The quake's depth was estimated at 80-85 km.
No injuries or damages have been reported so far.
