[01] Venizelos: Greece should finally get on course to exit the crisis
ANA/MPA--Government Vice President Evangelos Venizelos, speaking to
reporters after a meeting with prime minister Antonis Samaras said that
Greece should finally get on course to exit from the crisis.
Replying to questions on the government's "red lines", Venizelos said
that the framework for every ministry - and in total - is very clear.
Venizelos also said that no discussions were held on layoffs and stressed
that what is important now is sending the message to the civil servant
that he/she must help the state to enable it to be at the service of
the citizen and of growth and that he has no reason to fear anything.
PASOK party sources stressed after the meeting that a political discussion
will be held in Paris in which the government mission wil raise the
issues preoccupying the country and citizens.
They added that this will be done by Finance Minister Ghikas Hardouvelis,
after receiving relevant guidelines from Samaras and Venizelos in the
coming days.
