[01] Cosco Piraeus cargo terminal profits more than triple in 2012
ANA-MPA -- Cosco on Tuesday said that pre-tax profits of its affiliate
company operating the cargo terminal in Piraeus port more than tripled
in 2012 compared with the previous year.
The company said its revenues jumped 43.1 pct last year to 104.3 million
euros, from 72.87 million euros in 2011, gross earnings jumped 101.8 pct
to 26.7 million euros, pre-tax earnings soared 203.7 pct to 19.56 million
euros and net earnings shot up 203.7 pct to 15.56 million euros in 2012.

The company said its workforce totaled 254 people at the end of 2012.
