  • [01] Stocks end slightly lower

    Stocks eased slightly in the Athens Stock Exchange on Friday, with the composite index of the market falling 0.42 pct to end at 2,115.65 points. Turnover was a low 133.178 million euros.

    The FTSE 20 index fell 0.37 pct, the FTSE 40 index ended 0.46 pct higher and the FTSE 80 index fell 0.45 pct. The Technology (2.0 pct) and Telecommunications (1.80 pct) sectors scored gains, while Travel (3.52 pct) and Food (3.09 pct) suffered the heaviest percentage losses of the day.

    PC Systems (16.67 pct), Zampa (9.78 pct), Hellenic Fish Farming (9.09 pct) and Intrakat (7.14 pct) were top gainers, while Alma-Atermon (14.29 pct), Sanyo Hellas (13.04 pct) and Hellenic Textiles (10.26 pct) were top losers. Broadly, advancers led decliners by 88 to 86 with another 54 issues unchanged.
