[01] La Commission autorise l'acquisition de Young & Rubicam par WPP
La Commission européenne a autorisé, sur la base du droit communautaire sur
le contrôle des concentrations, le projet d'acquisition de Young & Rubicam
par WPP. Cette opération n'aboutira pas à la création d'une position
dominante sur les marchés des services de communication commerciale et de
l'achat d'espace ou de temps dans les médias.
[02] Commission clears joint venture of E.ON and Allianz Capital Partner
The European Commission has approved the proposed concentration of German
undertakings by which Allianz Partner GmbH (ACP) will participate in
control of the E.ON subsidiary Schmalbach-Lubeca AG (SLAG).
[03] Commission clears acquisition by Doughty Hanson & Co Limited of Ranks
Hovis McDougall Group.
The European Commission has approved the acquisition of Ranks Hovis
McDougall Group ("RHM"), UK, by Doughty Hanson & Co Limited ("DHC"),UK. The
operation does not raise any competition concerns given that the merging
companies are active in different product areas.
[04] Poul Nielson to visit Greenland on 28 August
The member of the Commission for Development Co-operation and Humanitarian
Aid, Mr Poul Nielson, will be paying an official visit to Greenland from
