[01] Structural Funds : Commission approves seven-year education, training
and employment strategy for Finland
The "Objective 3 Single Programming Document" for Finland for the next
seven years has been approved by the European Commission. Financed by the
European Social Fund, Objective 3 supports the adaptation and modernisation
of policies and systems of education, training and employment. EU funding
for the programme for 2000-2006 will total euro 416 million. This decision
is one of several currently being taken by the Commission to launch the new
Structural Funds programming period.

d'emploi et de formation de sept années pour le Luxembourg
La Commission européenne a adopté aujourd'hui un programme d'éducation, de
formation et d'emploi de 39 millions d'euros pour le Luxembourg, financé
par le Fonds social européen. Le "document unique de programmation au titre
de l'objectif n°3" est l'un de plusieurs programmes actuellement adoptés
pour l'ensemble des Etats membres afin de lancer la nouvelle période de
programmation des Fonds structurels, qui court de 2000 à 2006.
[03] Structural Funds : Commission approves euro 1750 million education,
training and employment package for the Netherlands
The "Single Programming Document" for the Netherlands for the next seven
years was approved by the European Commission today. This Objective 3
programme financed by the European Social Fund will support measures to
adapt, strengthen and modernise education, training and employment in the
country from now until 2006. EU financing for the seven year period will
total euro 1750 million. This decision is one of many currently being taken
by the Commission to launch the new Structural Funds programming period.
