[01] EU financial memoranda signed
Finance Minister Takis Klerides on Friday signed two financial memoranda to
help the country align its legislation with EU law and prepare for
accession.
Cyprus is set to receive nine million euros for 2000, six million of which
is for the harmonisation effort and the rest for bicommunal projects.
Total EU funding for the period 2000-2004 is expected to reach 57 million
euros.
