[01] House Committee Chairman to participate in a COSAC EU meeting
in Athens
Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign and European Affairs
Averof Neophytou will participate in the meeting of the Presidents of
the European Affairs Committees of Parliaments of the European Union (EU)
(COSAC).
The meeting is hosted by the Greek Parliament on 26 and 27 January 2014,
in the framework of the current six-month Greek Presidency of the Council
of the European Union.
At the meeting there will be an exchange of views on the priorities
of the Greek Presidency of the EU Council, and the role that the EU
institutions can play in order to achieve the re-connection of Europe
with its citizens.
