[03] Cypriots more likely to make use of European Citizens` Initiative

Cypriots are more likely to use the European Citizens' Initiative than any other Europeans, according to the November Eurobarometer.

The results of the Eurobarometer were presented Thursday at the EU House in Nicosia. According to the results, Cypriots are the first among the EU 27 who would like to know more about their rights as EU citizens.

In November, when the survey was conducted, Cypriots felt less Europeans than six months ago during the previous Eurobarometer, despite the fact that the survey took place during the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU.
