    • [01] Israeli FM arrives Monday on an official visit

    Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman arrives on Monday in Cyprus on an official three-day visit.

    On Tuesday, Liberman will have a tete-a-tete meeting with Foreign Affairs Erato Kozakou – Marcoullis, followed by official talks of the two delegations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nicosia.

    Israeli FM will then be received by the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Demetris Christofias, at the Presidential Palace and visit the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism to meet with Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism Neoklis Sylikiotis.

    During his visit to Cyprus, the Israeli FM will also meet the leaders of the two major parties of the island, main opposition Democratic Rally President Nicos Anastasiades and ruling AKEL Secretary General Antros Kyprianou.

    [02] Prime Minister of Poland to pay a working visit to Cyprus

    Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk will pay a two-day working visit to Cyprus in view of the assumption of the Presidency of the EU Council by the Republic of Cyprus, in the second half of 2012.

    The Polish leader arrives in Cyprus on the evening of Tuesday 17 April and will be received by President of the Republic Demetris Christofias on Wednesday morning.

    President Christofias and the Polish Prime Minister will have a private meeting to be followed by extended talks of the delegations of the two countries.

    After the talks Christofias and Tusk will give a joint press conference.

    The Polish Prime Minister will also attend a lunch in his honor, hosted by President Christofias.

    [03] Easter Wishes

    On the occasion of the Greek Orthodox Easter, the management and staff at CNA would like to send their best wishes for a Happy Easter, good health, happiness and progress.

    The Agency will be closed on Good Saturday and Easter Sunday. It will reopen on Easter Monday, 16th April.
