[01] BELGIUM FM CYPRUS VISIT
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs of Belgium Steven Vanackere
begins on Thursday a two day visit to Cyprus, at the invitation of
Cypriot Minister of Foreign Affairs Marcos Kyprianou.
During his stay, Vanackere will be received by President of the
Republic Demetris Christofias, President of the House of
Representatives Marios Garoyian and Archbishop Chrysostomos II.
Kyprianou and Vanackere will hold talks at the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs, focusing on bilateral relations, the Cyprus problem, relations
between the EU and Turkey, the Belgian EU presidency priorities, and
regional issues.
