New members of Cyprus delegation at the Committee of the Regions (CoR)
have assumed their duties.
Cyprus delegation comprises six full members and six alternate members.
On 9 February Christos Messis, Mayor of Mesa Yitonia was elected CoR
Vice President and Georgios Georgiou, Mayor of Kato Polemidia, was
elected head of Cyprus delegation.
The other full members of the delegation are Savvas Eliofotou, Mayor of
Strovolos, Christodoulos Costa Kattirtzi, president of Kato Zodia
Community Council, Eleni Loukaidou, Nicosia Municipal Council Members
and Eugenios Michael, President of Omodos Community Council.
