During the Sunday sermon, the Bishop said he would propose to the Holy Synod, the Church highest body, to set up a special fund to support the families of the victims. Last Sunday, 121 persons - most of them Cypriots - were killed when an Helios Airways Boeing 737 crashed into Grammatiko mountainside near Athens. On Friday night seven Cypriots were killed in a road accident in Sharm El Sheikh. ''Kykko Monastery will donate annually 2.500 pounds to each child until they come of age. The Church has to help those grandparents and other relatives who now have to bring up the orphaned children,'' he said. He called on church related organizations and local business to contribute to the fund. CNA MM/2005 ENDS, CYPRUS NEWS AGENCY
