    Cypriot Foreign Ministry condemns bomb attack in Netanya

    Nicosia, Jul 13 (CNA)--The Cypriot Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned Tuesday's bomb attack in Netanya, Israel, which resulted in the loss of innocent lives and the wounding of many others.

    In an official press release, the Cypriot Foreign Ministry, calls on both the Israelis and Palestinians ''to cooperate fully in the effort to curtail extremist acts, particularly as the disengagement of Israel from the Gaza Strip and parts of the northern West Bank draws nearer and to continue working for the realization of the common objectives of the Road Map.''

    Greek FM discusses Cyprus question with UN Chief

    United Nations, Jul 13 (CNA) Greeces Foreign Minister Petros Molyviatis and UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan examined today the need to continue efforts to create the necessary conditions for a resumption of the process to find a solution to the Cyprus problem.

    The Greek FM made the statement after a half-hour meeting with Annan at the UN headquarters noting their meeting was useful and constructive. He also described it as friendly, noting the UN chief congratulated Greece for its July presidency of the Security Council.
