Nicosia, Mar 15 (CNA) The government and the people of Cyprus remain fully committed to the respect of human rights and underline that they cannot accept their human rights being curtailed or discounted, Cyprus Foreign Minister George Iacovou has said.

Addressing the 61st Session of the Commission on Human Rights in Geneva on Tuesday, Iacovou said that Cypriots want an immediate, a viable and functional solution, in which all human rights will be respected in a bi-communal, bi-zonal Federation.

Cyprus among main foreign investors in Russia, Ambassador says

Nicosia Mar 15 (CNA)--Cyprus is among the top main foreign investors in Russia with Cypriot investment reaching an accumulated total of two billion dollars, Russian Ambassador to Cyprus Andrey Nesterenko said here Tuesday.

Speaking at a reception hosted by the Russian embassy to mark the tenth anniversary of the Russian Businessmen Association in Cyprus, Nesterenko said that despite its size and population, Cyprus is in the top list of main foreign investors in Russia.
